next we had fish cake and soba.
looks can be deceiving.
the fishcake was made from 100% fish, no additive like flour or msg. on the first bite, it was very Q! with a hint of wasabi, the fishcake was surprisingly elegant.
price : ¥810 (S$11)
next was soba. plain looking, but taste was refined and elegant. the benz friend who stayed in singapore for the last 6 years, commented that even the proclaimed shimbashi soba restaurant at paragon tasted terrible. after tasting this soba, i have to say i may not want to eat soba again in singapore...

This is a problem.
That's why I did not dare eat too much good food when I was in Japan ><
haha... well said wolvie! the 1st 2 days after i came back, my tastebuds went a bit haywire. fish beehoon soup tasted so flavourless.
am sure you know what i mean ;)
