OH GOD WHY CAN'T I EAT THE SCREEN TAKE ME AWAY I AM KIND OF ON A DIET AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. Temporary insanity. ;)

PS - Very cool with the japanese cat idioms! But I don't think I want a cat's paw to help me when I'm busy.

Teddy chases screen cursors and Choc pushes pens on the floor. :P

I have never been to Waraku, but it looks like the price tag is a lil out of my league ><

akashi's nice too ^-^ but i prefer the tanglin sc shop to the paragon's. more personable. and chef's cuter ;)

Where is Waraku and Akashi? Please please tell me. I want to give Mummy & Daddy a treat.

Daddy says the Jap restaurant on Taka 5th floor (not the katsudon one, it's not that nice, too dry already) is quite nice. The one at Miramar is quite gooded also.

waraku has many branches. see www.waraku.com.sg.

akashi has 2 branches i think. one at paragon (next to shimbashi soba) the other at tanglin shopping centre.

Thank you for the tip.

Mummy & Daddy like the Taka Jap restaurant on the 5th floor. The one at the corner of City Link is not bad too. The one at Miramar Hotel (alar carte buffet for $30+++). This small small Jap place at the building beside Starhub building on the 2nd floor. It serves good $10 set lunches and has many Jap diners. Does anyone know if the Jap restaurant at Far East Plaza (4th or 5th floor maybe) is good? It's been there for many years already.

You notice Mummy & Daddy cannot remember the names of restaurants? They only know how to eat. Their memory is very bad.

i know far east plaza has a nanbantei, they serve authentic yakitori without the yucky sweet sauce.. set lunch is approx $15 (?)

not bad, but be warned, you will smell like yakitori after coming out from the restaurant.

We had this great yakitori in Sapporo. It was so good I snapped pictures of every dish. When I get home end this week, will try to post the address and name if you like.

I have tried the one @ Far East Plaza once. Must definitely go there feeling very hungry as the set lunch is very filling. Probably due to the rice with minced pork on top. Ikoi @ Mirama Hotel is good if you like to eat many plates of sashimi, tempura mushrooms and veggies.
