you can get these seasonal pocky here, but it's definitely cheaper in japan, especially in ameyoko. these were $1 per box. this is my all-time favourite - yoku moku
overall, it was an almost uneventful grooming session (me and hubby stayed for the whole time for fear things may turn ugly, in case, humans get injured!).
the session started with shaving of the belly hair... not bad, ashley could keep still. help... i am getting violated!!!...
then, it was a quick clip of the nails, and trimming of overgrown paw fur.
just when we thought we could relax and go get a cup of coffee...
wAIL..... wAIL.... HISSSSS.... HISSSSS.... KAO PAY..... KAO BU....
it was bathing time, and ashley did not like it at all. she tried to bite the groomers! (wonder if it was usual for cat grooming session to have 2 groomers - 1 to cut and the other to sayang and massage the cat most of the time)
then, just when the ordeal was over, the fur trimming session. by then, ashley had a "muzzle" over her head and mouth...
i am craving for laksa, nasi lemak and chicken rice!!!!

ironically, in spite of what happen to most people, i think i will put on weight instead of lose weight, since i have nothing to do at home, except eat, sleep, eat, sleep.
ok, i am one of those snobs that dont like to go 邻国 for holidays, preferring the likes of 1st world countries like 日本.
however, since it's been a loooong time since i had my last holiday (read : aug 2006) and stranded with a cursed job (read : more shit comes when old shit is cleared), i took up friends' offer to join them over national day weekend to visit pulau redang.
other than the treacherous long overnight coach journey, redang is one beach resort island that you wont be able to do anything there, but relax!

even though it is becoming more and more commercialized like tioman, i was pleasantly surprised that things there are so much cheaper. perhaps it's bcos redang is in the state of terengganu. people are simplier and friendly, with an almost kampong-like innocence.
for a price of RM329 for 3 days 2 nights stay including meals, snorkelling trips over 2 days, it is awarded **** by ksn =-=
resident cats at redang beach resort btw, they only appear at the canteen during lunch and dinner times (not breakfast or tea)
something happened to me at work. dont think it has happened to any one of you..
here goes...
the new financial controller (mid-thirties, around my age) saw one of my staff (whom she disliked, for whatever reason) skyping her temp boy, and my staff (let's call her "A") defamed her. cos earlier FC made one of her girls (let's call her "J") cry.
FC printed out the skype history, which consisted of 2 pages, and shot straight to HR room.
of course i was called into my boss's room, with FC and HR director, and the 2 pages of skype history.
women are the pettiest creatures on earth! in that 2 pages of skype, mostly harmless chatting, consisted of one liner, A saying FC was a bitchy witchy bitch.
thanks to A, i was lectured for not taking my staff into hand and blah blah blah... of course i had to say she was very irresponsible and unprofessional, blah blah blah...
i looked back and wondered what i would have done - prob nothing, cos when there's instant messaging, there will be gossip...
ps FC is really a double-headed snake, as confirmed later by J. J has tendered her resignation...
