i have tender my resignation.
without a job.
why?
cos my body was giving way.
i had no energy.
my brain was drained.
heck, i didnt even had the strength to vent on my other half (which i used to do whenever i was stressed at work).
the constant stomachaches and cold sweat were the signals.
everything was just wrong from the beginning.
in retrospect, i should have just heeded my sixth sense when i went to sign appointment letter.
an expensive lesson, for a bored and complacent person dying for a challenging job.
well, i got what i wanted, and serve me right!

Okay. You did what you had to do.
Take a break, cuddle your kitty tribe. It's gonna be alright.
Yep, nothing is more important than your health.
Take care.
Hmmm..as long as you are happy. Thats what we all say in the amigo house :)
It will work out. One door closes, another one opens somewhere. At least you have the courage to make a change.
it was just a gamble. else u'd be left wondering how fares within the Fruit. take a good rest before the next job search!
good for you!!! it was long overdue. let me know if you need help with resumes. i help friends!
p/s, i have been in your shoes before, tho not in the Fruit industry. one thing useful i've learnt is that, use this time to 'process' the unpleasant memories, negative emotions you had in this job etc, don't bury them. write them out, confront them and say goodbye to them. else it will come back to haunt you in future.
you know my email if you need help with resumes. :)
thanks, canton pixie. really hope we can go roller-blading together one day. but first, blading lessons are a must for me!
i will definitely take on your advice to download all negative emotions. i only have 5 days :)
am sure massage, facial and cuddling with cats help. some single malt whisky would not be harmful too.
hehe, u're welcome!! yes, i really hope we can go blading together one day too! let's plan via email, perhaps when u settle down in new job, say a mth or two from now? my hubb been feeling ill too, so i also can't go blading. :(
this is off-topic but i just have to ask: i read somewhere that cats' purring sounds are healing. there's even soneone selling cats' purr music cds on the net. is it true??
cats' purring? yes, it does help... but not when the stress is too overwhelming of course.
i did that - catch my unwilling cats to cuddle when i was feeling very stressed, and i wished i was THEM! so good life, i want to be my cats :)
oh, but not every cat purrs (well, i would say most do). some bite you to show affection...
