ksn, I thought you'll be one of the best persons to ask: where to find winter coats in Sg, besides the rather duddy fashion at Winter Wear? I know they usually only appear in Sg seasonally, so any ideas? I need something good for 1-9 deg C.
Any suggestion from anyone else would also be appreciated. :)
i have 3 links below the blog links. unfortunately, these are all the shops i screened through.
i heard that robinson's has a decent selection.
but if you ask me, i'd say anywhere else in Singapore is a better place to buy winter wear, more variety and cheaper.
same for luggage. everyone in japan using 360deg wheeled luggage which can be trolled upright (so no weight on your biceps). and hor, they're cheaper than those found in singapore. and oh, did i mention the colours they have?
Okie, now I saw the links. Thanks! And how did you know I need a suitcase too? :-) My current suitcase is too small to contain the winter wear as well.
My colleague suggested Zara for winter coat. :-o She said Samsonite has a suitcase which can be rolled upright too...may have to check it out.
How come their suitcases are cheaper? Made in Japan? My friend went to Tokyo and bought lots of things, including a new suitcase to cart her stuff back. :p
Am going to Europe, just the place to buy nice winter wear... Haha, but don't think I can tahan the cold until then.

the bank notes are real, but probably phased out versions.
there's a security camera on top of the wall, and a security guard at the entrance to this section.
there's another section with 1 billion or 1 million yen shredded in bits.

$$$ flying away... :-(
where are you going? there's upright cases in Singapore but they are EXPENSIVE. we're talking about at least $200?
in japan, believe it or not, less than $100, and come in purple and pink!
i'll probably buy one on my next trip. :) next year :)
$200++ !?!? :-O
