thin line between guts and pettiness

below is an excerpt from my company's internal magazine. some staff were interviewed, see the responses that were printed

q: what are the common things between japan and singapore?

a : both are yellow skin and share a common trait of reporting only the good news and not the bad. both also share the lack of confidence in venturing overseas as well as unable to understand in depth another culture.

a : being asian contries, japan and singapore values seniority, conservatism and discreetness.

q : what is the major difference between japan and singapore?
a : culture, way of thinking, insistence of senority and japanese way of working.

q : what sorts of challenges do you have in your work at the moment?
a : work conflicts due to individual's unque characters and culture

tell me what you think. almost fainted when i read it...

Maybe there is some internal thing going on. Okie- a conspiracy :)) They might want to show only a certain type of character here. Is this representative?

san, well, having been in the company for 8 months, i think the view is quite representative, unfortunately...
